Role Purpose:

Kiron is looking for a QA Manager to lead a team of manual and automated testers. The QA Manager would collaborate with the delivery teams to plan, execute and review the delivery of projects. The QA Manager would be responsible for reviewing the test strategy, processes and procedures to ensure that the teams are delivering optimal results. The QA Manager would be responsible for driving the further adoption of test automation, security testing, load/stress testing and automated test execution in deployment pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Advantageous Skills

  • Familiarity with agile frameworks.

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in a test lead or similar role.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Experience with security testing.
  • Solid understand of the SDLC and STLC.

Advantageous Experience

  • Selenium using C# or similar.
  • Creating more focus on automation in a mostly manual testing organisation.
  • Experience using browser developer tools.
  • Mobile testing.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of manual and automation testers.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and capacity planning.
  • Review and improve the test strategy, test processes and procedures.
  • Implement QA best practices across domains.
  • Ensure that testers are aligned, and standards are followed.
  • Advocate for quality conscious behaviour and ensure adherence across domains.
  • Actively drive implementation of test improvement initiatives across the floor.
  • Actively drive optimisation of manual and automated test coverage.
  • Actively drive resolutions for complex testing issues and challenges.
  • Monitor test progress and take corrective action where required.
  • Mentor, manage and coach software testers.
  • Participate in recruitment and on-boarding of software testers.
