Role Purpose:

The candidate will be responsible for risk monitoring on our suite of products by identifying vulnerabilities that make the system susceptible to hacking. They must be able to identify player / betting behaviour and determine which, if any, are taking advantage of any loopholes on the system. They will work closely with the support team, which operate 24 hours a day, and may be required from time-to-time to be available during similar hours. This role will be at a junior level initially, with the potential to grow into a more senior role and grow a team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Matric qualification.
  • Diploma / Degree in Risk Management / Information Technology / Audit / Forensics or similar.

Minimum Experience

  • Basic experience in betting behaviour is beneficial.
  • Sports betting knowledge and understanding would be advantageous.
  • 3 – 5 years of risk auditing and monitoring.
  • Experience and basic knowledge of the software development industry.
  • Technical understanding of computer systems and their potential weaknesses.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring betting activity based on the Notifications system built into the application.
  • Fine-tuning Operators configurations for the Notifications system, to lower quantity of notifications and increase accuracy.
  • Investigating and understanding betting behaviour.
  • Betting and transactional risk mitigation and risk reduction.
  • Improving existing notifications system.
  • Identifying, specifying new tools, alert systems and reporting for the team’s function.
  • Assessing risk in the design of new product solutions and developments.
