Specialist virtual games provider Kiron Interactive has become the first provider of virtuals to introduce winter sports to their portfolio with the launch of two new titles – Hockey Shots and Speed Skating.

Hockey Shots uses high-quality graphics and sounds to immerse players into a sudden death ice hockey shootout.

Games every few minutes, with multi-concurrent events of six games scheduled into each time slot, means ice hockey lovers will never have to wait too long to play.

Meanwhile Speed Skating, which offers a realistic 3D representation of the sport, appeals to players who love the excitement of the Winter Olympics, as well as those who enjoy other racing titles.

Steven Spartinos, CEO of Kiron Interactive, said: “We have brought the Ice to ICE, we love innovating and we have done that once again here with industry-first titles Hockey Shots and Speed Skating.

“Kiron Interactive is the first to introduce these new winter sports to a virtual sports portfolio and we’re confident that both games will help us tap in to new markets and customer bases.”

Another game being showcased at ICE 2017 by Kiron is the revamped Raceday, which offers players an exciting suite of virtual racing products while promoting spend and loyalty in gaming venues.

The game gives players the chance to participate in progressive jackpots depending on how much they spend on casino products, generating extra traffic and incentivising big spenders.

Raceday, as well as both new winter sports titles, will be showcased along with Kiron’s 17-strong portfolio – the largest and most varied collection of virtuals in the industry – at ICE on stand S1-132.
