Gaming Operations Limited deal brings virtuals to bookies and famous Casino

Malta’s land-based industry is to feature virtual games for the first time after a deal between Kiron Interactive and its biggest operator, Gaming Operations Limited.

A selection of Kiron’s most popular sports will be rolled out in 30 IZIBET retail betting outlets around the island, as well as the world famous Dragonara Casino in St Julians.

The games will be made available alongside regular sports betting products on the self-service betting terminals of fellow supplier Best Gaming Technology (BGT).

Kiron’s Co-CEO Steven Spartinos said: “We’re delighted to have teamed up with IZIBET and are very excited about being the first to introduce virtual sports to the Maltese market thanks to our partnership with BGT and IZIBET.

“There is a growing demand among customers, both land-based and online, for virtual sports and operators are increasingly looking for new ways to entertain them.

“Given their success elsewhere, I’ve no doubt they will be a big hit with IZIBET and Dragonara’s customers in Malta too.”

GOL’s Business Development Director, Franco de Gabriele, said, “We’re excited to launch another product to complement our rich portfolio.

“Virtual sports betting will continue to enhance our offering, consolidating our brand as the fastest growing sports betting one in Malta.

“With Kiron’s range of products we will continue to differentiate ourselves from the rest of the market by providing the most extensive range possible.”

Kiron, who are exhibiting at ICE on stand S1-132 at ICE this week, are currently rolling out a host of new games on their retail and online platforms.

This includes a 3-pointer shootout basketball game, an Indy-style motor racing game, and an innovative jumps racing game.

Thanks to partnerships with Fluid Games and VIP they have also introduced a new archery game, and a boxing product, which are the first of their kind in the market.
